Dynamic Movement Intervention:
Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) is a specialized therapy approach designed to improve strength, balance, coordination, and overall motor development in children with gross motor delays or neuromuscular challenges. Using targeted exercises and supportive movements, we help children develop postural control, confidence, and the foundational skills needed for sitting, standing, walking, and overall mobility.
By promoting neuroplasticity, DMI encourages the brain to form new neural connections that support the development of important motor milestones.
Please be sure to ask your therapist about purchasing weighted blankets, listening CDs, Interactive Metronome program, thera-Band, and any of the sensori-motor equipment that will facilitate your child’s treatment and well being.
