Summer Handwriting Groups

We know that most of the time, students will react to pencil and paper work by saying ‘this is BORING!’… really meaning, ‘this is hard and I need help. Handwriting is an important skill to master in order for children to participate in one of their most time consuming occupations- education. Challenges with handwriting can ultimately impact a child’s feelings towards school. This is why we introduce handwriting skills in a fun, playful, multi-sensory environment. It is our belief that children learn best through play and building positive relationships. Your children will be building core, upper body, and hand strength through use of our sensory gym equipment, learning spatial relations through song and dance, and learning letter formation through movement and tactile means. Our therapists are certified in, and utilize the Handwriting Without Tears Program. This program emphasizes a multi-sensory approach to learning. We are also familiar with FUNdations and can carry over what your child may have already learned in school through that curriculum.

Handwriting groups dates coming soon – July through August 2020.
Space is Limited! Call for pricing details! (973) 862-6377

Grab your mask and your cape and get ready to defeat those handwriting frustrations!
